Anyway, tonight I was feelin a bit bored (mebbe very bored) so I asked Shelley and Xian out to chill out at grapevine.. we reached at 9pm and we sat down and talked and talked and talked and talked. geez. We had a real serious discussion about our lives, personal prayer walk with God, friends, our thoughts, church, some experiences we had. Something that that 3 of us has never done before!! the talk started out of nowhere and one thought led on to another and another and not realising it, we talked till 2am!!

God's in control. No, really, it's true. as Xian's quote of the day goes.. "It's not by chance that the 3 of us are here today" and God had His purpose. To build up the beautiful friendship of the 3 of us as well as to inspire and learn from on each other's experiences and we never fail to marvel at the handicraft of God..

Earlier on, Xian was sharing that he intended to go to New Creation Church but he had to work till late so he gotta give the idea up. He was crushed and juz at that time, i messaged him to jio him to grapevine. He agreed of cos and the rest is history.

Another funny thing that happened was, I was tellin shelley in the toilet that i wasn't intending to call her out tonight since we would be meeting on sat for church anyway and after that, our usual routine of hanging out. But I guess boredom overtook me. haha. Then the bomb came: "Esther, guess wat! I wont be coming this sat as i havva family function to attend." omg!! And the next sat, she will be flying of to Perth and coming back the sat after that. Juz imagine how long I would get to see her again and hang out on sats!!!

u get the whole pic?? God has a plan for everything.. who would have tot Esther's bible study will be cancelled today, and xian working late and not able to go to new creation church, or shelley who will be mia-ing for the next few weeks to be all free today juz to talk about stuff!! cool or wat?!

After coming home, I was doing my QT and the passage to read was Psalm 66. This psalm isn't juz warm-and-fuzzy-feelings praise. This is praise for a reason. God's power is huge and worthy to be praised.

Can you remember a time when God's greatness made your eyes pop-with an unexpected answer to a prayer maybe, or a timely meeting? If you can, great; if you can't, don't despair! The psalmist is happy to recognise God's powerful rule in trials and sufferings (vs10-12) as well as good times, as he looks back not only on his own life but the history of his people.

Now turn to praise as you think about all that God has done for you (vs16) and how much He loves you (vs20).
